Description: | SUMMARY: The Trade Relations Manager will manage supply chain relationships with 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider, wholesalers, specialty distributors, and retail pharmacies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with 3PL and Ferring manufacturing to manage product availability and inventory and pick/pack/ship process.
Establish favorable operating environment with wholesale, specialty distributor, and retail pharmacy partners.
Manage Distribution Service Agreements and product returns.
Utilize the data and information available from trading partners to optimize inventory level and forecast buying trends/behaviors.
Identify retail-based opportunities that will increase product sales, enhance brand awareness, improve customer access and loyalty and/or enhance patient adherence to therapy.
Provide distribution and retail pharmacy expertise to Business Unit Marketing teams. Become integral part of product launch teams. Solve regional retail pharmacy/distribution concerns
Negotiate and manage required contracts with trading partners.
Implement all Trade Promotion Programs.
| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree.
5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. 2+ years field sales. Account Management and/or Marketing experience a plus.
2+ years of prior experience in Pharmaceutical Trade.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel (20%).
Strong analytical, decision making and leadership skills.
Broad knowledge of healthcare industry.
