Warehouse Manager

Description:

  POSITION PURPOSE

The 215 and Corbin WH coordinator will oversee the inspection of NBK and OK Foundry crates from the respective suppliers in China, Germany, and VA.  The crate inspections will be made at the Port.  These inspections will be for damaged goods and verifying correct quantities and product as they relate to expected shipments and bills of lading.  Following this the material will be loaded from the Port and transported by this person to the Jersey City WH.  Following this, the shipments will be coded to a specific area on the blueprints using a bar code scanner.  Inventory logs will be kept electronically by the tracking system/scanner and overseen by this person.  It is our intent to know exactly what is in the WH, in transit, on the job and installed in real time.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Order all necessary materials for each job.
2. Perform safety inspections and mechanical inspections on company vehicles.
3. Make deliveries to job sites as soon as possible and as planned on both 2 week and 3 month look-a- heads for problems.
4. Accumulate warehouse transfers each month.
5. Manifest for shipping.
6. Accumulate warehouse transfers each month.
7. Unloading of all deliveries to the warehouse.
8. Maintain security of warehouse each evening.
9. Keep inventory via an electronic tracking system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         CDL License -Class B or above

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         6-12 months practical experience

·         Mechanical ability

·         Ability to read and understand blueprints.
