Project Engineer - Fired Heater Division

Description:

 

Assists in the preparation of requisitions for inquiry and purchase of equipment, materials, and technical services.  Reviews and monitors the implementation of project-specific customer job specifications.  Performs vendor bid conditioning/clarifications and prepares technical bid tabulations for equipment, materials, and technical services in cooperation with the Procurement Department.  Performs engineering calculations as required by discipline.  Reviews contract drawings, vendor drawings and documentation as required.  Coordinates with and provides liaison with client personnel related to the project activities.  Expedites receipt of, solicits comments, review and approves vendor drawings and documentation.  Monitors the technical performance of the project against the established schedules and budget.  Serves as the technical interface with the client and/or vendors on the assigned project(s) as delegated by the Project Manager.  Keeps Project Manager informed of progress and identifies design changes which may affect project cost or schedule.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in civil, chemical or mechanical engineering.  Good communication skills are a must.  Should be familiar with MicroSoft Office.
