Job Overview:
This position is responsible to provide support to the accounting department including accounts payable, payroll and general. Compute, classify, record, and verify numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Duties:

Responsibilities:

This job requires HEAVY DATA ENTRY.

• Works as a team with other support staff.
• Process monthly contract bills and apply cash receipts.
• Enter vendor invoices and ensure timely disbursements of checks.
• Coordinates and maintains paperwork as required.
• Assist and coordinates timely certified payroll reports as requested.
• Fills in at front desk when necessary.
• Special projects.
• Answer correspondence.
• Assist with payroll data entry.
• General filing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Skills:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding capabilities in:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team oriented professional work environment.
• Must be flexible and have the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of construction a plus.
• High School graduate or equivalent
• 1 year working in an office support environment
• Strong computer skills including AS400. Excel a must. Heavy data entry.
