Description: | SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Marketing teams by coordinating marketing programs in line with the planned strategy. This includes exposure to advertising/promotion activities of company brands; scheduling/organizing aspects of Trade Shows and meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and coordinate all advertising and promotion materials internally and with external agencies.
Serve as liaison between agencies and marketing department.
Track advertising and promotional materials through all stages using a database.
Be a communication source for the field for specific needs for marketing materials.
Develop and monitor accurate roll out and delivery of marketing materials to our field sales force.
Coordinate and schedule meetings between Marketing, Regulatory affairs, Medical Affairs and outside agencies.
Plan, coordinate and communicate with attendees of national conventions on all logistical aspects of the meeting including marketing displays, giveaways, and all booth personnel arrangements.
Ensure that advertising and promotional pieces are received and distributed in a timely fashion with minimal delays.
Assist in marketing activities such as layout, sales kit preparation, display arrangement, and sales outline writing.
Purchase promotional materials including but not limited to: displays/signage/pre-packs, promotional printing, coupons, premiums, art and photography.
Assist in the preparation of monthly update forecasts of promotional and advertising expenses.
Maintaining marketing files and departmental library.
Continuously identify opportunities for business process and/or expense efficiencies; partner with management and colleagues to assess and implement recommendations in a timely and effective manner.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related area is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a marketing/sales environment and/or medical communications or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus. Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
