Description: | SUMMARY:
Utilizes primary and secondary data to create, refine, and maintain reports, models, and analyses to support internal clients and business processes related to marketing, sales, finance, business development, production planning and other corporate functions as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs on-going business analysis for assigned markets and products which include analysis of product(s), markets and competition, SWOT, pricing, and resource assessments.
Prepares, updates and presents monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range forecasts.
Leads interactions with manufacturing and operations to assure proper production schedules are developed.
Tracks competitors and anticipates competitive responses.
Adheres to budget guidelines. Manages expenses not to exceed authorized budgets. Develops annual budgets and other budget analyses as required.
Understands and adheres to FDA, DEA, internal regulatory affairs and SOP guidelines.
Communicates and coordinates with all company departments to resolve critical marketing/sales questions and meet company objectives.
Develops and implements controls to measure progress and accomplishments against forecast with constant attention to profitability and margins.
Measures ROI of marketing and sales initiatives. Uses data analysis to recommend optimal promotional mix.
Analyze sales reports for trend identification.
Work closely with Brand Leads and brand marketing teams.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors degree (in marketing, preferred). MBA preferred.
Experience: 4+ years of previous marketing and sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry. A proven track record of accomplishment in the area of marketing is required. Incumbent must have the ability to travel (10-25%). Travel is primarily domestic but may be international. Candidate must have demonstrated an ability to prioritize and manage multiple diverse projects. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute individually and in team settings is a must. Proficient verbal and written skills are needed.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
