| DEPARTMENT: SALES REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT, SALES BROAD FUNCTION (Candidates for this position can live in the Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, or Newark areas) Manage the distribution of Liquid Controls products within an assigned geographical territory and develop close personal relationships with, respond and cater to the needs of our distributors and customers with the goals of obtaining maximum customer satisfaction and maximum market share always in view. This position is integral to both the order attainment & fulfillment processes. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Regional Managers report to the Vice President of Sales, who reports to the President. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS 1. Select distributors who best qualify to represent Liquid Controls in the markets we serve. 2. Make sure the markets we serve are adequately covered. 3. Train the distributors to sell our products within the markets we serve. 4. Provide the distributors with basic service training as needed. 5. Work to increase sales on an annual basis by getting a larger share of the markets we serve and by finding new markets for our products. 6. Continuously update the distributors to keep them abreast of changes in products or market. 7. Reporting, when called upon, products requiring improvements and new products to help gain more market share. 8. Responsible for enforcing sales agreements held by the distributor. 9. Investigate and expedite warranty claims and complaints in accordance with quality policies. 10. Provide concise annual forecasts by industry, distributor and product. 11. Develop relationships with and support local Weights & Measures jurisdictions. 12. Work with Product Managers to develop a larger market share.

In addition to the above responsibilities, all associates who travel for LC are required to conform to the following policy. This policy covers weekly reporting of your itinerary, field activities, expense reporting, checking phone messages, and is outlined below: Itinerary The purpose of this report is to inform Management and other Sales/Marketing associates where you can be reached while traveling. There are forms available for reporting. One is generated from Microsoft Outlook under "Calendar" and the other is form #LC75-003. Either form can be submitted with the following required information: •q Name •q Week of •q Day/Date •q Distributor/Customer Visiting •q Phone Number(s) •q Lodging/Phone Number If you plan on being in the office that week, an itinerary must be filled out stating "OFFICE". All itineraries are to be submitted on or before Monday by 8:30 AM to the Customer Support Assistant for that week. Travel Call Reports Reporting on activities that take place outside the company is crucial to our continued growth and success. It keeps management abreast of your planned activities and helps prevent duplication of efforts within the department. Forms are available for this reporting. They are generated in Microsoft Word and titled "Regional Trip Report". This form is to be used to report the overall status of the region; to forecast the status of the three major markets - Petroleum, LPG and Industrial; and the manager's planned activities for any upcoming travel plans. All Travel Reports are to be turned in to the Vice President, Sales no later than 5 working days for that trip's reporting. Phone Messages You are required to check your voice mail messages twice per day while traveling. The only exception is that if you are traveling outside the country, you must check in once per day. If this is not practical, a time for check-in may be prearranged with your supervisor.
