Description:

SUMMARY:
Responsible for the professional promotion of Ferring Orthopedic products through the following mechanisms: Peer to peer influence programs such as speaker programs, advisory boards and management of key opinion leaders; represents Ferring with professional organizations; responsible for the planning and execution of all logistical issues as they relate to various conventions and meetings; assist with sales representative promotions to identified professional customer segments, namely physicians, nurses and related office personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate programming opportunities with brand management, sales teams, medical teams, and outside organizations to develop and implement peer to peer educational programs.

Lead the planning and execution of all logistical issues as it relates to conventions, meetings, etc.

Coordinate Speaker Training sessions with both physicians and nurses to enhance corporate relations.

Develop communications strategy and oversee program execution for industry meetings in coordination with product managers.

Coordinate medical symposia and professional meetings/receptions at key industry events.

Identify mutually beneficial partnership opportunities with patient and professional industry organizations and oversee implementation and execution or programs.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor Degree (Life Science i.e.: chemistry, biology preferred)

Experience: At least 4 years’ previous industry related experience preferably in orthopedics. Incumbent must possess excellent presentation skills, organizational skills and the ability to work within cross functional teams. Strong leadership skills required.

Frequent travel will be required in this position.

Working Knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
