Description:

Summary: In this position, the incumbent is responsible for the performance the brands under his/her responsibility. He/She will develop, propose and implement marketing tactics for Ferring products and coordinate on-going activities relative to the marketing plan, based on an in-depth understanding of the brand’s performance and its marketing mix. To integrate the marketing strategies, branding and programs for; top-customers, peer to peer programs, managed care, specialty trade sales and event-marketing programs. To ensure the sales force is implementing marketing initiatives consistent with the strategic plan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Constantly analyze brand performance and recommend strategic or tactical updates

Prepare all forecasts for manufacturing, budget and business plan

Secure total compliance to Phrma and OIG guidelines, as well as company policies relative to marketing activities

Work with the advertising and the public relation agencies
.
Implement top-customer focused marketing tactics. This requires proposal of tactics, implementation of plan, monitor, review, and analysis of this initiative.

Peer to Peer marketing: Implement peer to peer programs contract and leverage at the field level.

Assist in sales training programs with sales training department, marketing, and medical affairs for products..

Work effectively with the brand directors, ad agency, medical education and PR firm to execute communication strategies, conduct media analyses.

Initiate and maintain contact with field sales force to monitor promotional efforts including: working in field and attending sales meetings.

Participate in special projects as assigned, including new product opportunity evaluations.

Qualification Requirements:
Education: Bachelor Degree (Marketing or Life Science i.e.: chemistry, biology preferred); MBA preferred.

Experience: 2 to 5 years’ previous sales experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device organization plus at least 2 years’ previous sales management experience required. Previous experience in the infertility market or related markets is strongly preferred. Incumbent must possess excellent organization, planning, tactical, and presentation skills.

Frequent travel (20 – 30%) required.

Working Knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
